Land Acknowledgement

In the spirit of reconciliation we acknowledge and deeply respect that we live, work, hike, swim, play and feed our families on/from the unceded traditional territory of the Snuneymuxw, Snaw-naw-as, St’zuminus people.

We recognize the richness of the Indigenous oral histories and traditions, the strength of their communities, and the profundity of their wisdom and stewardship over these lands and waters. We are grateful and appreciative of their friendship. We commit that our actions, now and in the future, reflect a genuine effort to listen to, learn from, support, advocate for and walk alongside, the Indigenous Peoples of this land.
