This workshop is designed for SMBs, non profits and entrepreneurs, and business leaders who want to move beyond just using AI LLMs and start building their first workflow automations with no code.

This hands-on workshop is built for small and medium-sized businesses that want practical automations they can deploy quickly and safely. Whether you are a solo founder or leading a large team, the fastest gains come from eliminating everyday bottlenecks. Small businesses often see the most significant impact, because simple automations free up hours and remove friction right away.

We begin with the question: Which tasks should you start with? You’ll learn to spot background tasks and internal workflows where “good enough” accuracy creates momentum. Examples include collecting form data, updating a Google Sheet, sending automated emails, or posting to Slack or Discord.

Along the way, you’ll learn the difference between AI automations (rule-based workflows connecting tools) and AI agents (autonomous AI Assistants). Using a human–AI partnership model (as human-in-loop is important), you will design and test an automation with a human review step. We’ll also cover cost considerations for AI APIs, local testing before deployment, and an overall automation roadmap (Assessment → Implementation → Integration).

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

1. Explain how to identify which workflows work best for automations

2. Differentiate AI automations and AI agents, along with how they can help your business.

3. Design and test a small automation in a no-code platform, producing sample outputs for peer review.
